ABOUT OUR EARLY LEARNING SERVICE

Why choose our Service?
  • Our modern early learning Service boasts purpose-built indoor spaces and a large outdoor environment designed to spark a love of nature. We provide a fully equipped art studio, sandpits, a veggie garden and a sustainability program to teach children to care for the planet.

  • We proudly hold an “Exceeding” rating from the National Quality Standard.

  • You’ll never have to worry about packing lunches or snacks. Our in-house chef prepares healthy food children love to eat in our open-plan kitchen.

  • Our nursery rooms offer an environment that is warm, nurturing and rich in learning experiences. Our caring and qualified Educators love to play, read, rhyme, sing, clap and dance with the babies to enhance their development.

  • Toddlers are given ample opportunity to develop their social skills and self-confidence in their interactions with others, and to learn literacy and numeracy skills through real-life experiences.

  • Our government-approved kindergarten program is based on the national Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and taught by a qualified early childhood educator. With a focus on language, literacy, numeracy and social skills, it will ensure your child is ready for school and foster a love of learning that will last a lifetime.

  • We understand that parents don’t always have time for extracurricular activities, so we’ve organised specialised programs including Happy Feet Fitness, Pyjama Drama classes, and a music program.

  • Our daily updates and photos allow you to keep track of your child’s learning and development.

  • Our child care Service is fully air-conditioned and has on-site undercover parking.

MEET OUR SERVICE MANAGER

Hello, my name is Sam Worth and I am the Service Manager at The Learning Sanctuary West Leederville. I have been in early education since 2005 in which I completed my Diploma in early childhood education. My favourite part about being a Service Manager is being able to have an in pact on all children and their learning throughout the whole Service and be able to see them all grow and develop into little adults. Myself and the educators at the Service show dedication through their everyday work and have a passion for children.

The values that are more important to myself about my team are that they are dedicated in what they are teaching to the children and have passion to be an early childhood educator and develop on their own learning to then help with the children’s development through learning.

I am passionate about children’s development and learning through fun in which I encourage my team to be the same. I believe in the rights of the child and that all children learn through different methods. We encourage indoor outdoor play throughout the whole year to give the children more of variety with their learning. Our large natural environment support children’s exploration and let them engage with nature I am proud of the Service as it feels like one big family between the families, educators and children at the Service.

The Learning Sanctuary West Leederville is a very lovely and warm Service. Once you tour you will feel at home. Please feel welcome to schedule a tour or pop down when you are free.
