ABOUT OUR EARLY LEARNING SERVICE
At Great Beginnings Wanneroo all of our Educators are qualified, fun, welcoming and strive to imprint wonderful memories in each child’s heart and mind.
Our lovely, warm, welcoming purpose built Service is open 5 days a week from 6.30am till 6pm and we are licenced for 99 children. We offer nutritious meals, offer a a Kindy 3+ program, our regular incursions include Happy Feet, Hey Dee Ho and Pyjamarama. Our Service also provide before and after school care for children who attend Wanneroo, East Wanneroo and Spring Hill Primary schools.
The families that walk through our door are the most important part of who we are along with the children that we get to spend time with, learning through new experiences. We have staff and families from all over the world which makes our Service all the more special.
We have extremely motivated and dedicated formally trained educators who thrive on developing inviting, friendly, fun and educational learning environments. Our Staff have a broad range of qualifications including: University trained Early Childhood Teachers, UK Nursery Nursing qualifications, Advanced Diplomas, Diplomas of Children’s Services and Certificate 3 of Children’s Services.
We have lovely safe enclosed outdoor play areas which have some wonderful features including sandpits, a natural play hill and tunnel, dry river bed with a water pump as well as raised flower and vegetable beds. The children are encouraged to help grow their own vegetables, fruit and herbs with the educators who plan regular activities. Shade sails strategically placed throughout the play areas offer shade for the warmer weather along with some lovely trees.
Our Service takes children form the age 6 weeks to 6 years and we have a large natural outside area which allows you children to investigate and make lasting memories of their time at Great Beginnings Wanneroo.
MEET OUR SERVICE MANAGER
My name is Chloe and I am the service manager here at Sparrow Wanneroo, I have 10 year’s experience in the early childhood industry I have been the service manager at my service since 2013. I completed my qualifications in England and decided to take on my next journey and more to western Australia, I hold a Diploma in children’s service and a business management diploma.
I believe children learn best through play and meaning full learning experiences, Children love to explore, experience, imagine and create through play. I believe that every child is unique and will learn and grown many different ways the first 5 years are the most important years of children’s development we cant wait to be a part of that journey.
My focus as a service manager is to provide amazing nurturing play space that allow children to take risks and become capable learns. Building strong bonds and relationships with families and children are very important to myself, I feel it is important to embrace each individuals’ family’s uniqueness. I have two little boys and know how hard it can be to leave your children by developing strong connections with educators and trust allows you to relax and know your child is in the best capable hands.
Our Educators have many years of different experience’s, I believe that our staff share our values of respects and compassion, they are all committed to providing amazing experiences for children and families.

WAITLIST & ENROLMENT PROCESS
We promote an open door policy where families can visit the centre at any time during operational hours and are offered a walk through and an overview of what we provide and offer as a centre.
Once families have completed a tour they will receive an enrolment pack with all necessary paperwork.
Once enrolled, the orientation process begins.
The orientation process is an arrangement made between families and staff that supports the family's needs.
