ABOUT OUR EARLY LEARNING SERVICE
Sparrow Early Learning Sandstone Point is a new centre which opened its doors in February 2016.
The educators are excited to work with the children, families and community to establish a service which provides high quality education and care.
The centre operates between the hours of 6.30am and 6.30pm.
We offer a Government approved Kindergarten program.
MEET OUR SERVICE MANAGER
My name is Gabrielle and I have over 16 years of experience in Early Childhood Education. I am a wife and mother of two children and hold my Diploma in Children’s Services. I had the pleasure of working at my previous Sparrow Service for 16 years, half of them in management roles between maternity leaves, before transferring to Sparrow Early Learning Sandstone Point in early 2021.
I am passionate about early learning for children and my focus is to provide inspiring and engaging play spaces for children through learning experiences that stimulate their knowledge and imagination. With the addition of warm and nurturing Educators, we can provide a setting for curiosity, learning and discovery that is valuable to fostering the development of children. Our beliefs align with the Reggio Emelia philosophy where children and adults co-construct their interests and knowledge which guides our educational program, supporting children to become lifelong learners.
We adopt an open door policy where children are always welcome to come into the office to say hello, have a cuddle or get a stamp from myself and Ambar our 2IC. We recognise that all children are different, and we always strive to cater to the individual needs of both our children and their families. We fully support the theory that ‘It take a village to raise a child’ and feel privileged to welcome every child and family into our Service and provide them exceptional education and care.

WAITLIST & ENROLMENT PROCESS
We promote an open door policy where families can visit the centre at any time during operational hours and are offered a walk through and an overview of what we provide and offer as a centre.
Once families have completed a tour they will receive an enrolment pack with all necessary paperwork.
Once enrolled, the orientation process begins.
The orientation process is an arrangement made between families and educators that supports the family's needs.
