Northam, Western Australia

Our beautiful education facility is open from 6:30am – 6:30pm, 5 days a week. We encourage healthy eating within our Service; we also provide morning and afternoon tea.

All our staff have or are studying Certificate III or Diploma in Children’s Services. We also have a Bachelor qualified Teacher in our Kindy room.

We aim to provide the highest level of care and education for your child in a warm, nurturing and safe environment. By creating a feeling of acceptance and sense of belonging, we provide an environment which enables each child to feel safe and secure. We are very community minded, being rural and we offer after school pick up from most primary schools in town. Our Service is a multicultural community in which our qualified educators work hard (and have lots of fun) educating and nurturing each child.

We would love to welcome you and your family to our Service.

My name is Nicole and I have been working in the early childhood industry for 14 years. I hold my Diploma in Children’s Services and I am the Service Manager at Sparrow early Learning Northam.

I am passionate about personal development and helping others reach their goals. I commenced my career working for a centre where I completed my certificate whilst working full time. I progressed and soon became a Room Leader, which I thoroughly enjoyed.

In 2017 I made the move to the country and joined the team at Northam.  I progress from 2IC and am now the Service Manager. I feel my experience and my positive outlook encourages my team to grow, both professionally and personally.

Sparrow Early Learning Northam is not a purpose-built Service therefore I am very proud of the environments both inside and outside that we have created over the years. We are dedicated to catering to the children’s interests and needs. We have lovely veggies gardens in both of our outdoor areas. These environments create opportunities for the children to learn about nature and our natural food sources.

Our team are passionate about guiding and teaching the children through their early years at Sparrow Early Learning Northam. All Educators either hold a certificate or are working towards completion. Each team member is dedicated to ensuring that we provide the children in our care a safe and educational environment. We have an Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) at our Service who provides the Kindy children with a structured program and school readiness program.

At Sparrow Early Learning Northam we provide enriching environments that promote positive and respectful relationships with everyone.

On behalf of our dedicated team, we welcome your enquiries and look forward to sharing your children’s early years with you.
