SPARROW EARLY LEARNING EAST BUTLER
Butler, Western Australia
ABOUT OUR EARLY LEARNING SERVICE
Sparrow Early Learning East Butler is a dynamic Service with a team of passionate educators. We are very excited to be a part of the Butler community and to have the opportunity to watch your child learn and grow. Our Service is proud to focus on family and child input, which we believe fosters a positive learning environment. We operate from 6:30am to 6:30pm and cater for children between the ages of birth to 6 years.
The majority of our educators are Diploma trained educators with all other educators Certificate III trained and working towards their Diploma. We also have a full-time teacher in our Kindy Room with a Bachelor of Education. Our educators are passionate about their career and provide the highest standard of care in a safe and secure environment.
Sparrow East Butler is a vibrant Service that offers an exciting learning environment for your child. We believe every child is unique, valued and that every child should have the opportunity to discover and develop independence and self-sufficiency through learning in a stimulating and encouraging environment.
Our enthusiastic educators inspire these beautiful individuals to develop a core set of meaningful values and a belief system that they will carry throughout their lives. We offer an extensive learning program which caters to the children’s learning, developmental emotional and social needs. We include input from the parents and the children.
Our gardens have been designed by Nature Play and are specially equipped with an all-natural environment. The plants, flowers and vegetables are all child friendly and are non-toxic. The Kindy children help to take care of the vegetable patch by planting, watering and harvesting the vegetables. The children enjoy eating their harvested vegetables in our wonderfully nutritious home-cooked meals, prepared by our chef. We have a four-week rotating menu which is reviewed regularly.
We believe that every child is unique and encourage them to grow socially, emotionally and cognitively. We use Storypark, a parent communication app that will keep you up to date about your child anywhere, anytime, from any device.
We offer regular incursions throughout the year including dance and music programs. We invite community groups in to the Service to enhance the programming. We encourage families to participate in our many family days to enhance family interactions with children and educators. We offer date nights so that parents are able to go out and enjoy a dinner together.
We welcome you to visit us at the Service today to learn more about our wonderful Service, facilities, curriculum and Educators.
MEET OUR SERVICE MANAGER
Hi My name is Kelly I have worked in childcare since I was 16 and have worked full time for around 13 years in between having my 3 beautiful children who are aged 8,7 and 3.
I completed my cert 3 when I was student in Victoria I then went on to further my knowledge and completed my diploma in children services.
That is when I made the big move to WA and worked in childcare fulltime since moving to WA.
I believe in providing a warm and nurturing environment for the children to grow and thrive in.
I enjoy watching the children’s beautiful faces when they express to their families what they have achieved at day-care and also working alongside and with the families to meet there everyday needs within the service.
In my opinion children always learn best when they have the option to participate in everyday experiences and given the opportunity to explore there world around them.
I look forward to welcoming you into our service at Sparrow East Butler.

WAITLIST & ENROLMENT PROCESS
We promote an open door policy where families can visit the centre at any time during operational hours and are offered a walk through and an overview of what we provide and offer as a centre.
Once families have completed a tour they will receive an enrolment pack with all necessary paperwork.
Once enrolled, the orientation process begins.
The orientation process is an arrangement made between families and staff that supports the family's needs.
