SPARROW EARLY LEARNING EAGLEBY
ABOUT OUR EARLY LEARNING SERVICE
Sparrow Early Learning Eagleby is situated mid-way between Brisbane and Gold Coast with easy access off the M1. We have two local schools very close by and within walking distance of the centre and great relationship with our local community. We also offer a free courtesy bus service to transport children to and from your residence
Sparrow Early Learning Eagleby is an 88-place service that caters for children from 6 weeks to 5 years of age and has 5 large spacious and airy rooms within the service for different age groups. We also cater for school age children up to the age of 7 years, offering before and after school care and vacation care.
There is a large car park at the front of the service and easy access into the building. We also have a large outdoor play space for children aged 2 – 5, a separate babies and Toddlers play area with a large shady play space. Our very large undercover verandah also provides plenty of shade in the warmer months. This allows our service to implement indoor / outdoor programs year-round.
We pride ourselves on our great relationships with our families and we welcome their contributions in all areas of learning, including service decisions. We like to work with our families as co-educators and we greatly value their input.
Sparrow Early Learning Eagleby is a loving, warm environment where children can feel safe, secure and supported during their time with us. We acknowledge each child is unique and let all children learn and develop at their own pace.
We offer twice yearly dental health checks and developmental health checks in conjunction with Brisbane Health and local Dentists.
Our centre provides nutritious meals cooked fresh on the premises. We can also provide meals for children with allergies and cultural diets. We proudly hold a Logan City Council 5-star rating
All of our Educators are qualified and passionate about Early Childhood Education and Care, they aim to provide exceptional quality care in all areas of the National Quality Standards and achieve good quality outcomes for all children.
We have a qualified Early Childhood Teacher working at the service who
delivers a government approved Kindergarten Program to our kindergarten
age children. Our goal is to ensure our kindergarten children are best
prepared socially and emotionally for the transition to prep and the school environment. During the second half of the year Our early childhood teacher conducts weekly excursions with the children to our local schools.

MEET OUR SERVICE MANAGER
My name is Lisa and I have over 22 years of experience in early childhood education. I hold my Advanced Diploma in Children’s Services and I have been a Service Manager for 12 of those years. I moved to Brisbane from Cairns in 2014 to open and manage our beautiful centre. I absolutely love the community vibe and spirit that Eagleby has to offer families and am very proud to be apart of it.
Being a mother to 3 adult children and grandparent to 5 gorgeous grandchildren I am very passionate about children’s early learning and believe this is the best environment for children to start their early years journey. It is a time of great curiosity, learning and discovery. In my eyes, our role as Educators is to provide an environment that is valuable to fostering the development of children in our care. We recognise that all children are different, and we always strive to cater to the individual needs of both our children and their families.
My focus is to provide amazing, engaging play spaces providing children with learning experiences that stimulate their brain and imagination. We strive to ensure Sparrow Early Learning Eagleby is a place child want to come back to, their home away from home, time and time again.
On behalf of our dedicated team, we welcome your enquiries and look forward to sharing your children’s early learning journey with you.

WAITLIST & ENROLMENT PROCESS
We promote an open-door policy where families can visit the centre at any time during operational hours and are offered a walk through and an overview of what we provide and offer as a centre.
Once families have completed a tour they will receive an enrolment pack with all necessary paperwork.
Once enrolled, the orientation process begins.
The orientation process is an arrangement made between families and staff that supports the family’s needs.
