Leaves Early Learning Centre (ELC) is a Long Day Care and Kindergarten service that provides education and care for children aged 3 months to 6 years.

The rooms in our service are separated into the following age groups:

  • 3 – 12 months

  • 12 – 18 months

  • 18 - 24 months

  • 24 – 30 months

  • 2½ – 3 year old

  • 3 – 4 year old

  • 4 – 5 year old (kindergarten)

Our qualified Kindergarten teacher has over 20 years’ experience teaching and all educators hold qualifications in the industry.

At Leaves ELC we limit the number of children to 12 per room up to 3 years of age.  Many studies over the years, have shown that younger children generally learn and develop better in smaller environments.  By limiting the number of children in each room, we ensure that each child receives maximum care and is offered the best opportunities for their development.  We are committed to providing a safe, happy and stimulating environment for every child that attends the service.

The service offers an educational program tailored to each developmental age group, from the nursery up to and including our 4-year-old preschool program.  Our aim is to ensure that your child is best prepared to attend primary school in the following year.  The preschool program is managed and delivered by a Bachelor Qualified Kindergarten teacher and our team of early childhood educators are carefully selected to ensure they have the appropriate qualifications and experience.

Leaves ELC offers four spacious, natural outdoor play areas with six large shade structures.  We strongly believe in children learning through play in natural environments and having choices of kinesthetic, visual and verbal learning.  Our service and educators are expected to follow the Cancer Council’s Sun Smart policy.

As parents of young children, we understand that the decision to commit to childcare and early learning can be very emotional and challenging.  We are committed to the care and education of every child and believe the early years are a unique and important stage of a child’s life.  We promote a healthy lifestyle for all children by offering a balanced diet, a comprehensive menu and exceptional role-modelling by all educators.

My name is Brooke and I am the Service Manager at Leaves Early Learning, I have been working in the Early Childhood field for more than 18 years taking on various roles including Room Leader, Centre Manager, Advisory Consultant and working in shared projects with external providers. I have been in my role as a Manager for the past 11 years.

I have been working on developing a strong partnership with families and local communities to ensure that children are given the best opportunities to develop based on their strengths and abilities.

I love being a part of the Leaves family and working with Educators to ensure that children and families are provided with the best possible environment to learn, grow and develop. I see this role as an opportunity to bring my experience and professional knowledge, and to commit to the continuity of the excellent service provided to all current and future families.

I believe that children are confident and capable learners, enthusiastic creators of their present and future. Children are unique individuals, they have beautiful minds and capabilities to take on wonders and adventures with their learning and environment. I see my role as a facilitator and a leader with a strong interest in children’s advocacy and children’s rights.

I would love to invite you and your family into Leaves Early Learning to tour our beautiful environments and to get to know our nurturing team.
