HONEY BEEZ EARLY LEARNING CENTRE
ABOUT OUR EARLY LEARNING SERVICE
Honey Beez Early Learning Centre is situated in the suburb of Bayswater in Victoria. It is a 55 place Centre with 4 rooms offering care and support for the needs of children aged from 6 weeks to 5 years.
The babies’ room has a separate outdoor play area, shaded for the warmer months of the year.
The outside play area has a large deck, shaded sandpit, climbing area, vegetable and mud patch as well as quiet areas for children to investigate and immerse themselves in outdoor play.
All rooms have quiet areas for children to access. Beds are provided for rest and sleep time daily.
Local schools, shops and transport are all within walking distance of the centre, which is located in a quiet suburban street with a horseshoe shaped driveway for easy drop off and pickup.
We take pride in the relationships built with our children and families, we encourage and value the children and families input as well as encouraging them to take part in various community events held during the year.
Honey Beez Early Learning Centre is a warm and caring setting where children are able to inquire, investigate and learn whilst being supported by the caring and qualified educators. Our Educators are passionate about early childhood education, providing all children with quality care in all areas of the National Quality Standards and encouraging, inspiring and extending each child to develop a desire for lifelong learning.
MEET OUR SERVICE MANAGER
Hi my name is Cherie,
I moved from New Zealand to Australia to become a nanny which was to be the beginning of my childcare career.
During my time as a nanny I was able to watch the children grow and learn, which in time led me to my Certificate 3 in children’s services, this inspiring me to study my Diploma of children’s services.
Whilst on my placement for my Diploma I was lucky enough to be offered a job as an assisting educator.
Throughout my time with that centre I had many different roles from Assistant, to Room Leader moving up to a 2IC position.
I have worked at private owned centres, and also corporate centres throughout my years in Early Childhood.
I was inspired during my work as 2IC to study my Advanced Diploma in Community Sector Management which I am currently completing.
I have been an Assistant Service Manager for 3.5 years and have enjoyed the opportunity to grow and learn from amazing Service Managers.
During this time I have learnt so much and my confidence has grown.
On a personal note
I am married with 2 beautiful daughters Paige, 16 and Tameaka, 12.
In my down time I enjoy going to the gym, lovely long walks and supporting both my girls in their chosen sports, Calisthenics and Football.
I have a small zoo at home with 2 cats and 2 guinea pigs with a hope to add more beautiful creatures in the future.
We look forward to welcoming you to our HoneyBeez Family, introducing you to our amazing team of Educators and showing you through our Reggio inspired Service.

WAITLIST & ENROLMENT PROCESS
We promote an open door policy where families can visit the centre at any time during operational hours and are offered a walk through and an overview of what we provide and offer as a centre.
Once families have completed a tour they will receive an enrolment pack with all necessary paperwork.
Once enrolled, the orientation process begins.
The orientation process is an arrangement made between families and staff that supports the family's needs.
