ABOUT OUR EARLY LEARNING SERVICE
At Great Beginnings Wanneroo all of our Educators are qualified, fun, welcoming and strive to imprint wonderful memories in each child’s heart and mind.
Our lovely, warm, welcoming purpose built Service is open 5 days a week from 6.30am till 6pm and we are licenced for 99 children. We offer nutritious meals, offer a a Kindy 3+ program, our regular incursions include Happy Feet, Hey Dee Ho and Pyjamarama. Our Service also provide before and after school care for children who attend Wanneroo, East Wanneroo and Spring Hill Primary schools.
The families that walk through our door are the most important part of who we are along with the children that we get to spend time with, learning through new experiences. We have staff and families from all over the world which makes our Service all the more special.
We have extremely motivated and dedicated formally trained educators who thrive on developing inviting, friendly, fun and educational learning environments. Our Staff have a broad range of qualifications including: University trained Early Childhood Teachers, UK Nursery Nursing qualifications, Advanced Diplomas, Diplomas of Children’s Services and Certificate 3 of Children’s Services.
We have lovely safe enclosed outdoor play areas which have some wonderful features including sandpits, a natural play hill and tunnel, dry river bed with a water pump as well as raised flower and vegetable beds. The children are encouraged to help grow their own vegetables, fruit and herbs with the educators who plan regular activities. Shade sails strategically placed throughout the play areas offer shade for the warmer weather along with some lovely trees.
Our Service takes children form the age 6 weeks to 6 years and we have a large natural outside area which allows you children to investigate and make lasting memories of their time at Great Beginnings Wanneroo.
MEET OUR SERVICE MANAGER
What is your name?
Hi my name is Chloe Scott and I am the Service Manager at Great Beginnings Wanneroo.
How long have you been working in childcare?
I have been working in the early year’s sector for 6 years starting from a Trainee educator working my way up towards management.
What is your favourite part of working at the Service?
My best part of working at Great Beginnings Wanneroo is meeting new families and getting to spend quality time getting to know your children and watching them learn and grow each day.
What qualifications do you hold?
I currently hold a Diploma in Children’s Learning and Development. My Qualifications were carried out back in England and were assessed by ACECQA.
What are you most proud of at your Service?
Here at Great Beginnings we are a purpose built, nurturing natural environments. We offer care from the ages 6 weeks to 6 years and offer before and after school care to East Wanneroo Primary School, Wanneroo Primary School and Spring Hill. We offer health homemade meals to all children with a five week routinely menu to suit all children allergies. We currently run our 3+ kindy program deliver by our highly qualified Early Childhood Teacher.
What is your philosophy about educating children?
I believe that each child is an individual and learn through play making memories along the way.
What makes your team/centre special?
Here at Great Beginnings Wanneroo we have amazing long term staff all our educators have a qualification in children’s service or working towards a qualification.

WAITLIST & ENROLMENT PROCESS
We promote an open door policy where families can visit the centre at any time during operational hours and are offered a walk through and an overview of what we provide and offer as a centre.
Once families have completed a tour they will receive an enrolment pack with all necessary paperwork.
Once enrolled, the orientation process begins.
The orientation process is an arrangement made between families and staff that supports the family's needs.
