ABOUT OUR EARLY LEARNING SERVICE
Our Early Education and Care Service provides quality care for you child between the hours of 6:30am to 6pm.
Childhood is a time like no other; it’s when children learn through exploration, experimentation, challenges and opportunity and this is something that we at Great Beginnings Camillo strive to give your child the opportunity to experience.
We, as Early Childcare Educators, are there to give each child opportunity to learn through their environment and play. We encourage children to express their emotions, thoughts and ideas and allow children to be themselves in a comfortable and secure setting.
At Great Beginnings Camillo inclusive of the cost of your child’s education we provide fun and exciting incursions including Junior Goals Soccer and Ready Steady Go! These are additional programs that your child can experience throughout their time at the centre which introduce them to a range of different sports, look at sportsman ship and getting your child up and active.
We also provide additional quality Before and After School programs for three schools; Clifton Hills Primary, Grovelands Primary and Westfield Park Primary. At Great Beginnings Camillo your child can attend our Service all through their Primary years as we are able to provide quality education and care for children up to 12 years of age.
We are a multicultural centre with children and Educators from various different backgrounds. With a low staff turnover our Educators are able to form strong and meaningful bonds not only with your child but with you family as well, because at Great Beginnings Camillo your family is our family!
MEET OUR SERVICE MANAGER
My name is Bethany. I have been working in Early Years Education for 6 years and have been privileged enough to work with all age groups ranging from 0 to 13 years.
My favourite part about being given the opportunity to work with children is that moment when a child realises that they have accomplished something that they didn’t think possible. I strive to create safe environments that challenges and nurtures the creativity and curiosity in each and every child.
I am proud of all my Educators as we are all passionate and dedicated not only to the job but to each and every child that walks through our doors. We take the time to get to know each individual child and family on a personal yet professional level which means we are then able to then create experiences that will benefit and settle each child.
There were many things that inspired me to become an Early Years Educator, however, I had a strong love for children and wanted to find a sector where I could be that person that created a safe space where a child could go and not be afraid to make mistakes, to try new things and learn. The learning in early years is so important and I am inspired every day by the challenges that our children overcome and the new learning that takes place each and every day.
As a child I didn’t know what I wanted to be when I grew up, but I am so grateful for this as it meant that when I left school I was able to really think and explore what I truly wanted to do with my life. My parents and my Early Educators gave me the tools and opportunities to explore what exactly it was that I wanted to do and I try my best to do the same for the children that are in my care by allowing them to be whoever it is that they want to be during their time with us.
I hope that you have enjoyed reading a little bit about me and I truly hope that we are given the opportunity to get to know you, your family and of course your child/ren.

WAITLIST & ENROLMENT PROCESS
We promote an open door policy where families can visit the centre at any time during operational hours and are offered a walk through and an overview of what we provide and offer as a centre.
Once families have completed a tour they will receive an enrolment pack with all necessary paperwork.
Once enrolled, the orientation process begins.
The orientation process is an arrangement made between families and staff that supports the family's needs.
