ABOUT OUR EARLY LEARNING SERVICE
Sparrow Early Learning Tarneit Central has been operational since April 2011. We are a 120-place centre with seven rooms catering for children aged from 6 weeks to school age.
At Sparrow Early Learning Tarneit central, we are a community-focused centre located in Tarneit; acknowledging the Wathaurong people as the traditional owners of this land. We’re passionate about providing high-quality education and care, and we value our community; respecting, encouraging and celebrating their diverse needs. We know that children achieve better outcomes when their strengths, abilities, interests and cultural practices are understood and supported.
Our pedagogy is influenced by the Reggio Emilia perspective which supports our practices, environments and documentation processes, in-line with the National Early Years Learning Framework and designed to support and promote your child’s learning through active child-initiated play. We aim to provide the best educational outcomes for your child and build skills for life.
We offer a government-funded 4-year-old kinder program which is run by Bachelor qualified kindergarten teacher.
Our educators provoke, co-construct, and stimulate thinking and facilitate the child's learning by developing projects based on children’s interests.
All of our educators are dedicated to providing quality care and education. Our team are focused on supporting every child to reach their potential in all developmental areas through a play based approach.
We are proud to have a diverse bi-lingual team of passionate educators, we speak over 16 languages; Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, Malayalam, Punjabi, Gujarati, Fiji Hindi, Telugu, Urdu, Bhojpuri, Turkish, Tagalog, Italian, Indonesian, Mandarin and Japanese and encourage bi-lingual interactions.
Our cook prepares nutritious fresh food onsite each day, to nurture your child’s development and meet all their important daily dietary requirements.

MEET OUR SERVICE MANAGER
My name is Rhiannon, I hold a diploma in Children’s Services with over 15 years experience in many roles within the industry. For 10 of those years I have been in a management position.
I believe that each child is unique and that Early Childhood plays a very important role in this. Being a mother myself I understand it can be hard to entrust your child with someone different and my focus is to provide an environment that is warm, calming, friendly, with play spaces that are not only inviting but encourage curious minds to learn and develop.
From our passionate team at Sparrow Early Learning Tarneit Central we look forward to building strong relationships with your family.

WAITLIST & ENROLMENT PROCESS
We promote an open door policy where families can visit the centre at any time during operational hours and are offered a walk through and an overview of what we provide and offer as a centre.
Once families have completed a tour they will receive an enrolment pack with all necessary paperwork.
Once enrolled, the orientation process begins.
The orientation process is an arrangement made between families and staff that supports the family's needs.
